Tai Chi Internal Skills is a Daoyin method that combines dynamic and static skills. Tai Chi Internal Kung Fu was originally an internal practice of Tai Chi Quan. It was earlier spread in the martial arts world with the main purpose of enhancing martial arts abilities. Because of its good curative and health care effects, in the early 1960s, Li Jingwu and others tried this method in clinical practice as a therapy.
